SS501 held their Asia Tour ‘Persona in Japan’ Concert successfully.

SS501 kicked off their Asia Tour with Seoul Concert on August 1-2, 2009. On August 9, 2009 the group left the country to Japan.

In Japan, SS501 has released albums, hit the Oricon chart and become popular in Japan since then. This statement is also proven as their 2 concerts which held in the same day on August 13,2009 at 1 pm and 7 pm were SOLD OUT !

The five members of SS501 are back together as a group for their activities in Japan and also for their upcoming Asian Tour.

Until recently, the members had been busy with their separate activities: Kim Hyun-joong was filming “Boys Over Flowers,” Park Jung-min was appearing in the musical “Grease,” and Kim Hyungj-oon, Kim Kyu-jong and Heo Young-saeng performed under the sub unit group.

SS501’s second Japanese album, which was release on May 13 and entitled “All My Love,” shows off a more mature side of the members’ vocal skills.

SS501 has proven their popularity in Japan. In their last event on May 17,2009 , the group held a fanmeeting with their Triple S Japan (TSJ) in conjunction with the release of their 2nd Japanese album All My Love on May 13,2009.

The event was held on TFT Hall – Tokyo which attended by 7000 fans has drew the media attention.

Group SS501 is already gain their recognition in Japan, yet, their leader apearance Kim Hyunjoong in popular drama Boys over Flowers which currently broadcasted by cable TV Mnet Japan has increased the group popularity in the Sakura country.
