As you all know, leader is the reason for me to start this blog and he is also the one who dragged me to SS501…. making me love the whole SS501 members …It was him n always him.
He is the reason, he is always be the reason, and now that I already in love with the group as a whole, this news came out today… making me shock! I am in deep shock.
I am even more shock, since previously I translated article which says KeyEast statement saying that there’s no such thing as contract / agreement signing between the company and HJL. And now this?????
I am sad, regretting, in denial what so ever …. reading this news. I can’t believe n feel I don’t want to believe this is really happened! This can’t be happened are the words in my mind when I read the news. I don’t have the energy to read the Korean news..I can only stare at leader’s photo with KEYEAST logo on it ..
I am sorry but I can’t think clearly..this is really shocking for me.So, I decide to repost news from those Korean sites which has english version regarding the news just to avoid mistranslation about the news.

Kim Hyun-joong signs with Bae Yong-joon’s agency
Korean singer and actor Kim Hyun-joong, the leader of idol group SS501, has signed an exclusive contract with Bae Yong-joon’s agency, according to a press release by KEYEAST on Tuesday.
“We plan to provide more professional and concentrated support so that Hallyu star Kim Hyun-joong can go beyond Asia and grow into a global entertainer,” Yang Geun-hwan, the president of KEYEAST, was quoted as saying.
KEYEAST also explained that they plan to support Kim’s overseas activities through its Japan affiliate DA (Digital Adventure) and carry out various promotions with DATV, a cable channel for Asian entertainment programs.
Rumors of Kim teaming up with Bae first surfaced last month when it was reported that Kim and Bae had a private meeting. Kim and his band SS501’s contract with agency DSP Media expired on June 8.
But at the time, DSP downplayed the rumor, saying it was only a personal meeting between Kim and Bae, a close friend and mentor figure to the young star.
Earlier this month, several media reports had claimed that Kim had indeed signed a management contract with KEYEAST. But an official at KEYEAST dismissed the reports as “groundless” and said that they had not signed with the singer.
DSP Media also released a statement on Tuesday, saying other band members have not yet decided on their future plans.
Kim Hyung-jun will continue working as a deejay on SBS’ radio show “Radio Music High” while Heo Young-saeng, Kim Kyu-jong and Park Jung-min will be taking a break and make a decision later on.
Kim, 23, is the leader of boy band SS501, one of the most successful K-pop acts in Asia since their debut in 2005. The singer has also done some acting work, most notably in the smash hit drama “Boys Over Flowers” last year alongside actors Lee Min-ho and Ku Hye-sun.
SS501, who released the album “Destination” last month, have been promoting their latest single “Love Ya.”

All eyes have been on the frontman of SS501, Kim Hyun-joong, over the end of his contract with DSP Entertainment. Final confirmation arrived via many major news outlets early June 29th stating that Kim has indeed decided to leave DSP Entertainment for Keyeast Entertainment. Keyeast is where many well-known actors are signed under, including Bae Yong-joon (whom Kim Hyun-joong was sighted with before the official decision was made), Park Ye-jin, Bong Tae-gyoo, Lee Bo-young, Lee Na-young, and Hwanhee. Many have speculated that this decision will push him further into the acting realm.
Just because Kim has made his decision doesn’t put the bigger issue to rest: what will happen to SS501? The main possible options were that the group would break up, the group woud continue without their leader, or that they would continue their group activities with Kim signed under a different agency. Another related issue is that if Kim does indeed leave the group, will there be a new member to replace him?
Amid these speculations, Kim spoke out to Sports Korea saying that SS501 will not be breaking up. He said that although the remaining members have yet to make their decision regarding their contract with DSP, there are no plans at present for the group coming to an end. He said that whether he leaves and is replaced, or stays as the group’s leader, the group as a whole will go on. DSP reported that as the other members are currently on vacation, their final decisions will not be made until they return.
As I see from these news, I think we shall awaits DSP statement regarding this issue. Whilst, waiting for other members’ stands regarding this and about their expired contract issue. But, I hope for the best, which is SS501 will continue with leader HJ in it thought they will go in different company.
Now….. I will calmed myself down, and try to visit DSP site afterwards.
I am sad to see many TS hating leader so much. TS will never say such words, they will never bad mouthing SS501 princes. We are known as well manner fan club. Yet, this news today, I am sure had hurt many people, especially, since here we are, far away from the so called S.Korea couldn’t get updated as fast as Korean TS, and I am sure other members’ avid fan were also disappointed to HJL coz they cannot understand leader’s decision, feeling like leader’s leaving the other members what so ever.
If you asked whether I hate leader for making such decision, I will say, I don’t.
Why?
– because it’s his life and his decision
– because I love him too much
– because I know how much leader had sacrifice for SS501
– because I know he went to many schedules just to promote SS501
– because I know how much he loves his SS501 brothers
I don’t and can’t hate him. Yet, I can’t stop to think what would happened to the group and to the rest of the members?
I just wanna cry…that’s all

When Keyeast said the rumor of Khj signing with them is not true they are stating the fact AT THAT TIME . Maybe they should have said NOT YET. Many things had happened since then -I am sure you will eventually get all of them. So Khj has been receiving the blame . Ok he is high profile and frontman and many people expect a lot from him . But he cannot control the DSP factor .
He tried his best but …
If it is true the two others are negotiating with another company ,then we are talking 3 companies here . KHJ knew that is why he said they will be pursuing solo activities for now . When the time comes ,they still feel they are SS501 ,their respective companies offer no resistance but cooperation and collaboration the we can have SS501 again. LOVE IS LOVELIER THE SECOND TIME AROUND.
In the meantime ,with our heart hugs let us wish them the very best -they are fine, talented young men. Let them spread their wings and FLY !
i love ss501 too, but after reading this and confirming it…you can’t blame some triple S to be mad..it’s normal. Imagine the leader of the group is the one who left their agency, so the remaining members don’t know what to do..I guess leader wants to focus into acting and not singing…Wish the other 4 members luck//I would still support them though….even if they’re not complete anymore….
Judging from what the group’s messages to the fans ,they have been in discussion all these months that gone by .Even Kyu in their last concert was saying to KHJ not to bear all the responsibility regarding what will happen to them because they are already grown up. In other words ,they were not left in the dark ,it was just that KHJ was perhaps more decisive or that he had offers outside of DSP to fall back on in case negotiations with DSP is not going anywhere.Everyone knew that their contract is to expire June 7/8 this year. They even have individual requests/changes to conditions of their contracst many months ago.
We actually do not know what happened inside DSP so KHJ should not be blamed outright . Instead it is DSP who should be explaining but I guess they would rather not do it so KHJ remains the whipping boy/scapegoat.

i think hating leader is wrong..

we, triple S, are known for our well-manner and maturity..
so please stay calm, think clearly, wait until each member speak out about this..
and prepare ourselves for the upcoming news, that maybe the worst condition of SS501..

Leader not to be blamed. He has the right to make his own decision but he definitely will not do for himself. His decision must have been taken into accounts for the sake of SS501 as well. He’s not a selfish person and he’s the type of think for himself.
Lets pray for him for making the right choice. Since the news of ss501 will be together again next year, and Leader wanted us his fans to TRUST and continue support him and SS501. I think that shows something GOOD coming ahead from him and SS501.
I was feeling crazy yesterday abt the news, but after reading some of the positive info ….I am telling myself to just be calmed and wait for the next appearance from kim hyun joong. He will always be in my prayers like I did for my late father and mother. I will pray hard for his good future, smooth journey in his career and life and most important one is his health and happiness. I just do not want to see his tears again. I know Leader LOVE his other members very very much like his brothers……he said so. So I will just have to bear a little longer to see them together again soon. that the five learnt that DSP didn’t want to sign Kyu.
There’s no way SS501 could continue.
